13th Annual State Trauma Conference
September 29-30, 2010 - Fargo
Each year, the North Dakota Trauma Foundation (NDTF) holds a conference designed to provide healthcare professionals the most up to date information in the treatment of the trauma patient. The target audience is physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other interested health care professionals. Speakers at the conference consist of specialty physicians, nurses, medical directors and other health care professionals involved in the care of the trauma patient.
Presentation topics at the 2010 conference will include maxillofacial injuries, pediatric and adult resuscitation for burns, pelvic fractures, ballistics 101, thoracic and lumbar spine stabilization, trauma in the elderly, EMS and the flood of 2009, and mangled extremities. Continuing education hours will be available for physicians, midlevel providers, nurses and EMS providers.
